photo card greetings guidelines

Ordering Photo Card Greetings with us is very simple. We design your photo announcements and send you a high resolution file (jpeg format) which you can take or send to your favourite photo printing lab such as Costco, Target, London Drugs or print it yourself at home . You can print as many or as few photos as you desire. You control the quality of your printed photos (read more below). Alternatively, you can use the photos online and email them to your friends and family.

How to place an order:

1- Choose your design - Most of our designs are based on 4x6 photo size unless noted otherwise. (Keep in mind that due to the high resolution of our designs, you can print larger sizes as well).

2- You can customize your design by choosing different fonts, colors, backgrounds, etc...(If you also have a special design in mind and you do not find it here, we will try our best to create that for you).

3- After you make a payment, you are taken to our photo submit page with an email address for you to use.

4- Email us between 1 - 3 of your favourite photos with your order number. It is very IMPORTANT that you do not change or crop your images. We prefer photos from your digital camera with a resolution of at least 1200 x 1800 pixels.

5- You will receive your announcement photo proof within 1-3 business days after we receive your order. Please check your email often and look for your photo proof. We are 99.9% on time. If you have not received your announcement proof from us within this time period, please check your spam box. If in an unlikely even you still do not see an email from us, simply let us know, our email is probably lost in the cyber space!

6- You can make small changes (color, font, size etc....) twice at no extra charge.

7- If you have a special design in mind and you do not see it on our site just email us and we will do our best to help you.

All of our photo card designs are $17.00 US except if you request special effects which are $27.00 US. Special effects means we turn your photos to black and white and then hand color a small section of the photo. View an example.

8- We also offer limited Holiday or birth announcement cards which you can email to your friends and family for free or for 1.00 you can add your name or change the text on them. These cards are meant to be used for the net and are not suitable for printing.

Photo Enhancements free of charge:

We will remove red-eyes from your photos and brighten up darker images where possible. We can also convert your color photos to black and white or sepia. You can also choose to color part of your black and white photos (at an extra charge).

Here are some guidelines to follow:

1- Please submit only original untouched photos, preferably from your digital camera. We will crop, and enhance your photos as necessary.

2- Ideally the photos you send us should be 1200x1800 pixels. If you scan your photo, it must be at a minimum of 300 dpi or preferably 600 dpi.

3- If you have a few favourite photos, send them to us and we can custom design your announcement. View an example.

4- If you are sending us photos taken by professionals, you must send us a release form signed by the photographer.

5- You will control the final quality of your image by choosing who prints your photo announcements. Just make sure nobody auto-enhances our work as it might degrade the quality.
